You want to experience something and go on a voyage of discovery? No problem, the Spreewaldhaus is the ideal starting point for adventures and discoveries: Hikes, bike tours, boat trips, canoeing or a visit to the water playground on the castle island with the little ones, Lübben offers a varied programme. Fancy a little more action? The climbing garden is only a few hundred metres from the house. In our house folder you will find many suggestions for excursion destinations, recommended restaurants and contacts for canoe and bicycle hire. You can enjoy the cosy summer evenings on the terrace, protected by side awnings if you wish. There is also a smokers' corner and a barbecue area in the courtyard. In the garden we have built a green original Spreewald barge for you, supplemented by an insect hotel since spring 2020. The Spreewaldhaus is surrounded by nature, you will relax well ... The holiday home is designed for an occupancy of 4 people, but two more holidaymakers can stay overnight on the sofa bed in the living room. In the 2 bedrooms you can spend peaceful nights in box-spring double beds. Both bedrooms and the living room also have plenty of storage space for your belongings. Both bedrooms have a hardwood floor (Spanish walnut) and a clay wall in one bedroom ensures a pleasant room climate. ATTENTION: Room height in the bedrooms only 2.00 / 2.07 m (so not for "tall people"). In addition to a washbasin and WC, the bathroom also has a bathtub and shower. You are also welcome to use the washing machine and electric tumble dryer in the bedroom. The kitchen has a hob with oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. Sufficient cutlery and crockery are provided, so you can feel at home here. The living room is very spacious and has a seating area and a cosy couch area for relaxing (and can also be converted into a sofa bed for overnight stays). A large-screen TV with BluRay player and satellite TV is also available. The living room has laminate flooring. From the living room you have access to a covered terrace, where lounge furniture invites you to relax and sit together. In addition to the terrace, the courtyard of your holiday home also has a barbecue area and a smokers' corner. You have access to free WiFi in the house and on the terrace. Parking is available in front of the property, a car can also be parked next to the house in a lockable driveway. Bicycles can be "parked" in a lockable shed on the property. There are several shops within walking distance: Lidl, Rossmann and Bakery & Cafe Dreißig (also fresh bread rolls on Sundays). The holiday home has been available to holidaymakers since July 2018 after a complete and loving renovation and can be rented all year round. In winter, the house is fully heated by district heating. The green electricity provider Naturstrom AG was chosen as the electricity provider. As a state-recognised resort, Lübben is the ideal starting point for discovering the wonderful Spreewald. Lübben is not as overcrowded with tourists as other places in the Spreewald, it is more relaxed here. Whether it's a leisurely boat trip through picturesque landscapes or on your own by canoe or bike, the Spreewald will cast a spell over you. From Lübben, you can also visit the Spreewald village of Schlepzig with its brewery, distillery and many other highlights, take a trip to Burg (Spreewald) with a visit to the Spreewald thermal baths or visit the Slavic castle of Raddusch. The Spreewaldhaus in Lübben would like to be your new "temporary home" for your big and small discoveries in the Spreewald, which has its very special charm at any time of the year. That's why we have opened our holiday home for you all year round. The Spreewaldhaus is not barrier-free and unfortunately not suitable for wheelchair users. If you are travelling with a baby or toddler, please note that we only provide a high chair, please bring your own cot, changing table, etc. The property is completely fenced and includes a courtyard and garden, so there is plenty of space for the little ones.
