Cozy holiday home with a hot tub
Description
A wonderfully nostalgic home from the old days, but with the comfort of today. Where else can you find a 1.60 by 2.00 m box bed? The living room also has a fireplace and a double sofa bed. This makes the house suitable for a couple or a family of 4 people.
Opposite the house, you can fish, but bring your own fishing tackle. There are several supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance and there are plenty of trips to make in the area. How about the fortified town of Bourtange (18 km), the city of Groningen (60 km), Wildlife Adventure Zoo in Emmen (20 km) or a ride on the steam train on the STAR museum railway? This runs from Groningen to Veendam.
Dogs are very welcome here and have all the space they need, besides, they cannot leave the large yard because it is completely fenced.
For dinner, you can prepare meals on the barbecue. The beds will be made on arrival. For a surcharge of 55 euros per weekend, 55 euros per midweek and 90 euros per week, you can use the hot tub and fireplace (wood included, pay to the owner upon departure).
Wood for the hot tub is provided, it is NOT allowed to bring your own wood. This is due to special processed wood that is used.

the hot tub is delicious heating up for the first time took a while but when it's warm it's great. cottage is super complete and cozy and clean. lovely garden where you discover something new every time. you will not get bored in the house either. really back to the past but the comfort of now.
Lovely, cozy and complete house with fireplace, located in a beautiful garden. Lots of privacy, a great hot tub and a bbq. Complete with bathrobes, slippers and large towels. The atmosphere of the cottage is a combination of rural Groningen with a hunting lodge. Everything has been thought of. Sweet hostess.Rustic, quiet and stand still in time. We had a fantastic time.
stunned!! That was the first impression, so much to see in the house in terms of trinkets. But everything was there and clean. The hostess is so dedicated. Really fantastic!
We hope we enjoyed our stay in "Ons Nestje" in Musselkanaal. Very unique house with all the trimmings and very neat. We enjoyed the peace, the garden, the hot tub and the beautiful surroundings where the cottage is located. Even our dogs enjoyed it.
A nice atmospheric accommodation, where everything is available to make it a valuable stay.
A very warm welcome for us and our dog by the owners. The cottage is located next to the house, but the (fenced) garden offers sufficient privacy. Quiet location with little traffic noise on the edge of the village, shops within 5 minutes walking distance. cottage is really equipped with all imaginable necessities and squeaky clean. Our dog could really appreciate the fat bed prepared for him, snacks and the underfloor heating. The area is very suitable for walking and cycling trips in Westerwolde.
