Les Thermes Oppidum is a luxurious family retreat for up to 5 people (but a maximum of 2 adults) with a total surface area of 370 m2, offering you an exclusive setting in a private estate situated in the heart of the countryside on the heights of the historic town of Theux in the Ardennes, with an extraordinary 360° view of the Fagnes.
It is spread over 2 levels.
On the 1st floor, La Suite (150m2) is a living space, a loft in a warm, rustic style with infrared sauna cabin, large jacuzzi, fully equipped kitchen, living room with pellet stove, TV, bathroom with walk-in shower, wc, free Wi-Fi throughout, 2 bedrooms, the first with a double bed and cot and the second with 2 double beds.
On the ground floor, Les Thermes (220m2) with heated swimming pool at 28° (12m x 7m), professional hammam, sun loungers and an outdoor area with private garden, barbecue, table and chairs, sun loungers, large garden furniture, children's play area with slide and swing.
All this is entirely private and you have private access to all the facilities throughout your stay.

Slightly disappointed with the lodging compared to the price! The swimming pool was not clean (a lot of "sand" at the bottom of the water), impossible to extinguish a lamp. On our arrival a full ashtray with two lighters placed in front of the door! Impossible to regulate the heating but the fuel oil We are billed on our arrival in had to make 2 messages and telephone so that one can welcome us or at least explain to us how to reach the lodging. Equipment lacking or not of quality in the lodging (no DVD player and the door of the hammam did not close suddenly impossible to make it work correctly) on the other hand jacuzzi at the top and sauna also.
I was there last year and I was happy of our vacations. It's a nice place where you can rest, it's very calm and the pictures are accurate. The owners lives next door but we never notice during our week there. It was clean, nothing to say about that. The swimming pool is also nice, but the sled can not be used anymore. Only they have a very nice hammam, but only a UV sauna. floor of the rooms have some holes that could have been dangerous, it's an old floor.But overall very positive!
Pleasant reception by the hostess.Loft is really very stylishly decorated.Here you really relax. Although the owners live right next to you, you have the full 100% privacy. Beautiful views of the surroundings. The swimming party after sunset is really advisable, due to the adapted lighting in the pool. Also, not important was everything. Definitely back.

The garden shown in the pictures has not existed for a long time. There was not a bit of green space, everything was diminished and there you wanted to be able to lay beds, but these are not groomed, weeds and wild bushes where you look! Also the terrace in front of the pool you can not use is private by the owners The sports facilities are also private, apart from the fact that they are totally over. In the lower area you have no privacy, the owners have direct access to the pool area from their living area, you feel constantly observed. The illustrated slide is only decoration and may I do not use it! In general I find it is not worth the price with so many restrictions!
