In winter, you can reach several ski areas in a short time: the Hochpustertal ski centre is ideal for families, while the slopes in nearby Sillian or the Helm area close to the border offer sporting variety. Cross-country skiers and ski tourers also get their money's worth. Despite the alpine location, the infrastructure is excellent - restaurants, shops and leisure facilities are within easy reach.
