The fascinating Baroque Blücherhof Palace, with its unique dendrological park, is ideal for long walks. Numerous bird and butterfly species can also be observed here. Ulrichshusen Palace on the southern shore of the lake of the same name, one of Mecklenburg's most important Renaissance buildings, is also worth a visit.
