Description
The Zuiderzee Resort, which is currently under development, has four different types of detached chalets and villas available for booking.
There is a 4-person ground floor chalet (NL-8256-15) which is more traditional. You have a living room and open plan kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave. There are two bedrooms, one of which has a double bed and one has two single beds. The bathroom has a shower and toilet.
There is also a modern, 6-person ground floor chalet (NL-8256-16). You have a living room and open kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave. There are three bedrooms, including one with a double bed. A bunk bed and two single beds are divided between the other two bedrooms. The bathroom features a shower and toilet. The centre facilities and playground are a stone's throw away.
The NL-8256-17 is a modern chalet with a lot glass finishing. This makes it wonderfully light inside the chalet. There is a living room and open plan kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave. There are three bedrooms, two of which each have two single beds that can be made up as doubles, and one bedroom with a bunk bed. The bathroom features a shower and toilet. This chalet is centrally located in the park, close to a playground.
Each holiday home has a garden with a terrace and garden furniture. There is parking space for one car at the accommodation. All beds except the bunks are single box spring beds that can be made up as doubles.
Resort Zuiderzee is a park under development. As a result there could be construction work taking place. Like any other disturbance, this is kept to a minimum as much as possible.

Beautiful villa with five bedrooms, two bathrooms and two toilets. The living and dining areas were generously sized and the kitchen was well equipped with a fully automatic coffee machine, coffee machine, induction cooker and large free-standing fridge / freezer. We felt very comfortable with six adults, three children and two dogs. The park and the surrounding area offered attractive recreational opportunities (hiking, cycling, mini golf, swimming in the open water or in the swimming pool). Some were not used by us (slot machines without the possibility of winning, billiards, climbing wall, etc.) The nearby town of Elburg was a popular leisure destination (the sand exhibition is highly recommended). There were also a few small drawbacks, however. The very beautiful house was in a neat but not great condition. Minor repairs were overdue. So I straightened a door frame and a wardrobe with my simple on-board tools and reattached the bracket for a shower wall. Of course, I wanted to report the damage to reception immediately after moving in. But nobody was interested. Only the fact that I had made a complaint was recorded. They didn't want to know the details.
Chalet was in reasonable order. Garden was poorly maintained and little privacy. Chalets were very close together. Facilities in the park were also fine, especially for the kids. Beautiful surroundings. Great stay, but no Belvilla quality.

Very nice accommodation and beautiful park
The accommodation was different than expected. The photos showed an impression, but it was less in reality. The accommodation was not properly cleaned. The dishes were still in the dishwasher, for example. The surroundings looked beautiful. The beach feeling was accentuated by the beautiful plants.
