Spacious, separate location, complete, quiet and good location, Gerolstein and Hillesheim a short distance away
Nice apartment. Beautiful environments. Bed and sofa were slightly less comfortable. But that is of course personal.
The area is beautiful, walks are not difficult. For groceries and sandwiches you have to go to Hillesheim. Unfortunately, our bungalow had a refrigerator that did not work, a shower that could use an extra turn and where you have to be very careful of the tap. If you accidentally hit it, the water will be scalding hot or cold. So with some minor adjustments it is otherwise an excellent apartment.
My wife and I had great weather and there was a jogging track. The neighbors were nice and sights were easily accessible by car. The hostess was also very nice.
We felt very, very comfortable here for 2 weeks. Ms. Schmitz is a great host and the village is very idyllic and quiet. Everything was very clean, not a speck of dust to be found even in the smallest corner. The kitchen is showing its age, but everything works. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the right place for you. There are various shops (approx. 2.5 km away) in Hillesheim. There is also a lot to see there, we often went there on foot. In addition, Gerolstein is not far away if you want to stroll through a city. There are also plenty of opportunities to go hiking in the immediate vicinity. The Dauner Maare, the Moselle, the Nürburgring etc. are all in the immediate vicinity, so it never gets boring. Our 10-year-old son even made friends in Bolsdorf. We'd love to come back sometime.
