Located on a former vineyard estate, this cottage is an outbuilding of a large residence typical of the Gironde from the 17th century. It has a magnificently landscaped park. The house has been simply furnished in a French country house style. However, you will not lack comfort.
It is not visible from the side street and is completely independent from the owner's house. At the same time, it is an ideal starting point for your excursions. The small village of Talais is located just six kilometers east of the famous seaside resort of Soulac-sur-Mer on the Médoc peninsula between the Gironde estuary and the Atlantic Ocean. Bordeaux is approximately 90 km away. You can see the rolls of the Atlantic Ocean, for example by walking in Soulac. Our advice: Take the ferry from Pointe de Grave on the other side to Royan. The crossing takes around 20 minutes. If you do not If you don't want to use your car, some tourist sites, such as the Notre-Dame de Royan church, are accessible on foot from the port.
