This charming architect house is located in La Roche en Ardennes, in a quiet area close to the city center.The house is spread over two floors. On the ground floor: living room, dining room, open plan fully equipped kitchen, relaxation area with a quality sofa bed and separate toilet. The living room opens onto the garden and terrace through a patio door. The large fireplace is purely decorative (it cannot be used to make a fire) but gives the living room a unique character. On the first floor there are two bedrooms (with double beds), one of which is directly connected to the double bathroom (two separate but communicating areas with a bath and washbasin on one side and a shower, washbasin and WC on the other side)
The house is ideally located in a quiet area of La Roche en Ardennes. The town center and shops are a 5-minute walk away. Dogs are allowed for an additional fee and wifi is free.

Good house, with a nice playful layout. slept great!Large garden with nice terrace and within walking distance of the center.
Beautiful surroundings, perfect location relative to the center. Cleaning could be much better.
Symon Lodge is a very cozy house with special, compact interior architecture and nice decoration. The kitchen and double bathroom are practically furnished with all necessary appliances and kitchen equipment. Ventilating on hot days works well thanks to the many windows on all sides. Minus point: in the bedrooms there is only moderate darkening of the windows, which can hinder if the sun sets late and gets up early. In short: a pleasant place to stay, close to all restaurants of La Roche
On arrival we found a house that apparently had not been cleaned in ages. All but all the junk from previous residents was left behind. Although there is a payment for a final cleaning, it seems that this is collected but that there is no cleaning nor is there control over how the house is left. I took pictures of all the filth. We are very disappointed. You are curious about our experiences, we are curious about your response and whether you will compensate us. However, with kind regards, Fam. Korssen
A very impersonal welcome, pick up the key at that hotel and continue your plan. The heating did not work and was only repaired after repeated telephone calls, etc. after 4 (four!!!) days. When someone took a shower upstairs, the water in the kitchen would drip down through the ceiling. The house was not clean at all, even dirty in some places. When you collect the key you will receive a list of fines if you do not empty the bins and the dishwasher, etc., while the bins were not empty at all when we arrived. (There was more, but then this letter of complaint will be too long) We have passed on all these defects from the first moment and have not asked for compensation for these problems, we only asked for our full deposit back without the extra costs of water, gas and oil. This too was only partially honoured. We were never informed whether the problems had been solved. Simon lodge is a beautiful house, well located, but we do not recommend it to anyone.
