The chalet is located at 1,274 meters, in the middle of the impressive mountain world and unspoilt nature of the Niedere Tauern, in Styria's holiday region Murtal. A place where you can enjoy year-round tranquillity, fresh mountain air and pure Alpine experience!

In winter, you'll be on the slopes in a matter of seconds: the ski area of Hohentauern, with 11 kilometers of perfectly maintained ski slopes, is practically next door, less than 200 meters away and offers wide, sun-drenched runs and beautiful deep snow passages. The nearby Kreischberg/Murau (42 km of slopes) and Lachtal (36 km of slopes) ski areas are also well worth a visit, while the family-friendly ski resort Kaiserau in Admont is ideal for beginners. For cross-country skiers, Hohentauern offers around 18 kilometers of trails winding through the fairytale winter landscape.

In summer, the Murtal holiday region turns into a paradise for hikers, cyclists and mountain bikers. Discover mountain meadows, cool forests and meandering streams on one of the many trails. For relaxation by the water, the idyllic bathing lakes of Gaishorn am See and Wald am Schoberpass are highly recommended. Or treat yourself to a wellness day at the AQUALUX Therme in Fohnsdorf or at the Grimming Therme in Bad Mitterndorf. Motorsport fans are also in the right place here: the famous Red Bull Ring in Spielberg is just 35 kilometers from the chalet.

There is also plenty to discover in Hohentauern and the rest of the Murtal region: pleasant excursions, great shops, supermarkets and atmospheric restaurants are all within easy reach
