Vacation in Architectural Monument combines heritage conservation and tourism. Historically valuable buildings are taken over, gently renovated and rented out as holiday flats. The model provides a double benefit: the monuments are given a revitalised future and the holiday guests experience a stay in an exceptional building. The idea is being realised by the Vacation in Architectural Monument foundation, which was set up by the Swiss Heritage Society in 2005. Parking: Three private outdoor parking spaces at the house. Number of persons 4-6: A cot and high chair are available on request (up to 2 years). The house can accommodate up to six guests. The floors are made of wood and stone, which is why we recommend good slippers. The tenant is aware of this and treats the property with care. Although the building is equipped to modern technical standards, certain functional details such as window and door openers, stair handrails and step heights do not meet current standards and are a potential source of danger.
