Description
Located at the foot of the Hohen Bogen (1079 m), our apartments are in the heart of nature, only 3 km from the border with the Czech Republic. Here, high in the Bavarian Forest, peace and nature dominate and hikers can truly relax. This spacious three-bedroom flat is located on the first floor of the detached farmhouse. It is ideal for a family with children or a couple of friends. Children can help the owner feed the animals or go on a tractor ride. But of course you can also simply enjoy the peace and quiet and relax completely on the balcony or on the large property. You'll be in the heart of the beautiful Bavarian Forest and very close to the Czech Republic, which without a doubt makes for a perfect day trip.

The apartment was nice and cozy, but not the one shown in the pictures. The apartment was smaller than advertised. The bathroom was very small and the shower only worked to a limited extent, which was unfortunately a major negative point. we still felt comfortable and received a very warm welcome. The owners are very nice and helpful. Kitchen equipment was ok, clean towels were laid out and there was a welcome drink. the hospitality was impeccable.
Cozy apartment in a quiet location
We were welcomed by very nice owners. This could also help us with any questions. Unfortunately we had some negative aspects of the property. Firstly, the rooms were too old-fashioned for our taste furnished. But it was clean and tidy. Secondly squeaks flush the toilet when you flushed, which was annoying, especially at night. The warm water in the shower to the right temperature set, also required a lot of patience. Since the house is very close to the Czech border, the phone reception was nil. Except, of course, the Czech network. Therefore, I find really a charge for WiFi of 5 euros per night, a joke. This should for the entire holiday free or max 5 euro kosten.In around there was not really much, you definitely need a car. Since we were there in the winter, but I can similar to hiking say nothing. Correct slopes there are in the area, however, you should allow 30-45 min drive there.
Very sweet, hospitable people, children can help care for the animals. Accommodation is neat. Beautiful, peaceful setting.
Beautiful area near the Czech border (1 km). Children very nice if they love animals (horses, goats, cats) .The apartment is very dated. Small living room / kitchen, but three very large bedrooms. The owners are very friendly and helpful.
Happy holiday with hospitable people. No modern decor, but spacious and clean.
