The house was clean inside, but dated. Privacy around the house was well guaranteed. The door of the shed was quite simple. Windows and doors need a paint job. The dishwasher was loose in the conversion cabinet and was only secured on the 4th day of our stay. There was a mechanic on the 1st day came to have a look, but he wouldn't do anything about it. We also asked the reception several times to send someone.
I am 71 and my husband 76, our house was close to the shop and the exit of the domei, which we thought was fantastic because we didn't have to walk far to the exit to take the bus that stops right in front of Hof Domburg ( no car anymore for medical reasons) The cottage is more beautiful and practical by 7 years ago, renovated with underfloor heating and walk-in shower. All the requested was present, bed linen and bath towels. I d environment a lot of variety to do and see. Hopefully this will be our 2nd home...
Mooi schoon ,goed bevallen.
The roof of the house creaked really bad so I didn't have a good night's sleep. I think you go on vacation to relax. The first house I had was also very dirty and the maintenance was bad. After a night of not sleeping due to the creaking of the roof and that the house was very dirty, I asked for another house. This was arranged quickly, but I could only get in after it had been "properly" cleaned. But unfortunately this house also creaked and was not completely clean, which you really expect, especially in the corona time. Never again this holiday park for me. Village itself is very nice and beach is close.
The cottage is clean and fairly spacious, especially the bedrooms. The bathroom is very simple. It was quiet in the park because of Covid but otherwise you would have little privacy because the houses are close to each other. Biggest defect: Creaking and popping due to the functioning of the roof and the wooden construction and noise from the boiler when it starts.
Corona-dependent, we had to rebook from October 2020 to June 2021. This was not my favorite time to travel. And you noticed that too. Roompot is very big and was more than fully booked. A culture shock for me at the beginning. Too loud, too much! The houses are well equipped. The beds are comfortable. The cleanliness was a problem. The floor was dirty, the beds fluffy, the dishes dirty in the cupboard, the dishwasher so clogged that it couldn't be cleaned and the cupboards in the kitchen were also dirty. That was really not very nice. Especially since you also pay money for the final cleaning and deposit a flat rate for dogs. Otherwise, Roompot is very nice. Offers a lot on site for families. We borrowed bikes. a small supermarket is on site. All dog owners are very friendly and uncomplicated. I can imagine that families can spend a wonderful holiday here. There was too much going on for me and little retreat possible. I was not aware of this when booking. So would choose a different accommodation next time. What was really not customer-friendly at all has nothing to do with Roompot but with Belvilla in general. Really bad communication. Unless you can make money. For all concerns outside of additional bookings, nobody was on the line or could be reached by email. Quite the opposite. Email contacts were suddenly blocked. On the website you were always passed around in a circle. For us one thing is certain ... we will definitely NOT book any more holidays through Belvilla.
