Description
You can book two kinds of detached, ground-floor lodges in holiday park Schaijk, opened in 2018.
There's a 4-person lodge (NL-5374-14) with two bedrooms, each with two single box-spring beds. One of the bedrooms is equipped with a TV. The living room is fitted with underfloor heating and smart TV and features an open plan kitchen with dishwasher and microwave. There's a bathroom with shower and separate toilet.
There also is a 6-person lodge (NL-5374-15) with three bedrooms, two of which with a double box-spring bed each and one with a bunk bed. One of the bedrooms is equipped with a TV. The living room is fitted with underfloor heating and smart TV and features an open plan kitchen with dishwasher and microwave. There are two bathrooms with shower and a separate toilet.
The beds are single box-spring beds, some in a double set-up. Each lodge features a garden with terrace and garden furniture. There's parking space for one car at the lodge.

It's very clean and quiet. We felt very comfortable.
no stay with children little to do for them
Cottage was a bit basic, few light points and no freezer in the fridge
Our four-person cottage was very spacious for the two of us. It is a beautiful, modern house in terms of styling. That means that we rate it as fantastic for a short stay, but for us seniors who stayed for two weeks, one step less. In our opinion, the beautiful - perhaps somewhat minimalistic - styling ignores comfort a bit too much. We found the lack of night lighting next to your bed (the light switch is next to the door, the bed is against another wall), no bedside table to put your glasses on, no shelf in the shower to put your shampoo, etc. on. Of course they are not insurmountable things, but they are annoying. A gas stove in the left corner of the kitchen may be safe away from the living room, but it makes it extremely impractical and unsafe to reach for the rear left pan. Despite these minor hurdles, our stay was lovely, with plenty of fun things to do in the area within a reasonable mileage. Walking and cycling in the area was gorgeous. All in all, definitely recommended!
Great stay. Everything is there. Had a wonderful week!
Neat, clean houses. Bedrooms very tight. No lights by the bed. There is hardly any storage space, especially if you are with four people. Everything is available in the houses. Park fine. Reception and restaurant neat. Friendly people and delicious food. We recommend the Berghs beer which is served.
