Description
Two types of detached and single-floor water lodges are available for rent at Holiday Park Schaijk, which was opened in 2018. The name says it all: all the lodges are located by the waterside.
There is a water lodge for 4 people (NL-5374-17) with two bedrooms, each containing two single box-spring beds. One of the bedrooms is equipped with a TV. The living room is fitted with underfloor heating and smart TV and features an open plan kitchen with dishwasher and microwave. There's a bathroom with shower and separate toilet.
There is also a water lodge for 6 people (NL-5374-18) with three bedrooms in total; two bedrooms with a double box-spring bed each and a third bedroom with a bunk bed. One of the bedrooms is equipped with a TV. The living room is fitted with underfloor heating and smart TV and features an open plan kitchen with dishwasher and microwave. There are two bathrooms with shower and a separate toilet.
The beds are single box-spring beds, some in a double set-up. All water lodges feature a garden with a terrace with garden furniture by the waterside. There is parking space for one car next to the water lodge.

water villa is a big word. But it was a lovely house on the water. No closets and no lamps by the bed are easy to solve, but unfortunately that is not done. We had problems with the toilet, so we couldn't use water for a day. If we had no compensation, we should have moved. So bad service
Nice, nicely furnished holiday home on the water. Excellent kitchen with all necessities. Would advise a squeegee for each shower room rather than sharing one (6 person house). Better cleaning would also be desirable. There was a layer of dust under all the beds, but that is often a 'thing' with houses anyway, in my experience. In general a great house for a week away.
Very nice and quiet park, Various facilities nearby and easily accessible, Accommodation also very nice and tidy no tired mess! The only downside is that we pay extra for our dog because of extra cleaning costs, but the plumes of dog hair from the previous visitors were everywhere along the baseboards, everything else was super neat (sanitary, kitchen, beds) if vacuumed properly, it certainly had 5 stars received from us,
Nice, clean and quiet park. Only a little more storage space in the house would have been nicer.
We were welcomed on arrival. The property was beautiful. There is only little cupboard space. With the very hot weather it became very hot in the accommodation. It might be useful to hang screens. We also could not secure the dog to anything, so a ring on the outside of the (dog) lodge will be handy. The area is beautiful with beautiful walking and cycling routes.
Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the house because it: 1. very very dirty / cutlery - extractor hood was dripping with grease 2. Bed and couch full of dog hair, (very disappointed here because I had previously stated to you that the house should not have dogs beforehand! 3. Vacuum cleaner completely full of dog hair etc. - we had to clean it ourselves before we could vacuum! 4. The facility wasn't really set up for children! 5. It was or is very, very loud in the restaurant due to the play area with climbing frame and bowling alley! 6. The staff behind the reception didn't speak any German, so it was very difficult for me to make myself understood with a few bits of English.
