This is a quaint 5-bedroom cottage for 10 people in the tranquil Belgian countryside of Kuchelscheid. It's a beautifully remodelled house just 2 km from the German border.
The house is 15 km from the well-known town of Bütgenbach. The town of Monschau is also closeby. The area is great to explore on long walks and bicycle rides. Restaurants and supplies can be found 2 km away.
The house has a garden and a terrace. It is child-friendly and has a children’s bed. You're allowed to bring up to 2 pets with advance notice.
Liège Airport is around 90 km away.
The guests must bring their own bed linen (bed sheets, pillowcases, and duvet covers).

The house was very outdated. Photos on the site do not correspond to reality. The boiler had an ignition problem, which we had to solve ourselves, luckily we were handy ourselves. The whole house was covered with cobwebs, mold spots, etc. There was no cleaning at all , hair and dust could be found in and on the cupboards, in the bathrooms the shower doors do not close or fell out, shower head did not hang.In the Night Hall there was only an OSB plate, no cover over it, splinters in your feet were guaranteed. There was only 1 small refrigerator for 10 people and it cooled not yet. We could not use the BBQ, it was rusted. In the kitchen there was a table with 8 chairs while it is a house for 10 people. 1 toilet is on the 2nd day broke, it kept going and it turned out that the float was broken. Wardrobes that fell apart, curtains rails that fell off in the middle of the night. All in all a very bad experience. If it had been cleaned properly then wa we have been very satisfied. And we also know that things can break, but this was really disastrous. 50 euros cleaning costs have to pay, but for what? We strongly advise against this house.

Very nice environment. The four days was much too short to do everything we had looked up so we will definitely go back. The holiday home itself is spacious, the kitchen has a lot of equipment .. we were 2 families and it is very nice to have separate bathrooms. "It is very quiet at night and the beds are good..
Nicely located house, no wifi but that was not bad
Nice base, enough space. Kitchen with all the trimmings. The slatted base of 1 double bed was too small for the bed, so you fell through when moving. that was less
A spacious and comfortable old house that was super easy to warm up in those cold days. Ideal to stay with children. Good location for those who want to be isolated from the world for a while, no WiFi and not even 3G. Very beautiful area, even in winter.
