The Périgord Noir is a beloved holiday destination, thanks to its very pleasant climate and its unique landscape of valleys, steep cliffs and plateaus. Les Eyzies-de-Tayac, called the 'world capital' of prehistory, is just 30 minutes away. Terrasson with its brilliant 'Jardin de l'Imaginaire' (gardens of imagination) is 10 km away, as is the village of Montignac. Here you will find the Lascaux caves, one of the best-preserved cave painting sites in Europe.
