Beautiful holiday home with private pool
Description
This classically decorated detached house is in a fantastic location at the foot of the Vézère river in the Perigord Noir. It is surrounded by a lovely garden with a large lawn, 3 terraces with sun umbrellas, plenty of garden furniture, a barbecue grill and a lovely private swimming pool.
The house is situated between the Vézère and Dordogne valleys in the southwest of France. The little medieval village of Condat-sur-Vézère is just 1.5 km away. The Périgord Noir is a beloved holiday destination, thanks to its very pleasant climate and its unique landscape of valleys, steep cliffs and plateaus. Les Eyzies-de-Tayac, called the 'world capital' of prehistory, is just 30 minutes away. Terrasson with its brilliant 'Jardin de l'Imaginaire' (gardens of imagination) is 10 km away, as is the village of Montignac. Here you will find the Lascaux caves, one of the best-preserved cave painting sites in Europe.
The garden offers plenty of room for the kids to play, with a swing and more.

The ideal holiday spot for a family We enjoyed this very comfortable and nicely furnished house, along with the swimming pool. The weather was beautiful and sometimes really hot, but the house stayed nice and cool, including the bedrooms. Delicious! The kitchen was well equipped with everything. And good quality. Also makes it pleasant. The owner is a very friendly lady and you immediately felt welcome. Furthermore, the house was "spic and span" and smelling fresh on arrival, so that is well worth the 60 euros in cleaning costs. Top spot!
Warm welcome by the owner + tour and explanation where everything can be found. Villa on reception spotlessly clean. Great stay so far.
On arrival the owner was waiting for us in the company of her cute dog Alma. The welcome was warm and we were immediately given a tour of the spacious and beautiful home. The friendly owner was always available for questions and personally maintained the pool. There is a terrace on three facades of the house and we enjoyed the tranquility and the view of the Vézère valley which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lascaux is only 10 km away and there are many other places of interest. The canoe trips on the Vézère River are highly recommended. In short, this holiday has certainly exceeded our expectations.
Unfriendly hostess. Several things broken, such as the ping-pong table, lounge chairs by the pool, umbrella. Wet walls.
Super nice and quiet location within walking distance of the castle. The house has three beautiful rooms and remains surprisingly cool, so fresh bedrooms to spend the night without the need for air conditioning. The kitchen has all the necessary amenities including dishwasher, washing machine and large fridge with freezer. Recommended are the towns of Motigniac (from here you can go down the vésière by kayak to 20 km), Sarlat and Beynac (medieval town). For the supermarket best the Auchamp in Terrasonne. The bakery on the square in Le lardin Saint Lazare and last but not least visit la table d'Aubas where you can enjoy a beautiful 5-course regional menu (with numerous options) for less than 20 €. just do it ;-)
