Just a 10-minute drive away is Canal du Midi and the recreational lake Lac de Jouarres. The medieval village of Minerve and La Cité castle in Carcassonne are also well worth a visit, as are nearby villages such as Assignan, Collioure and Lagrasse. Furthermore, numerous hiking trails and cycling routes can be found in the region.
