By bike, kayak, canoe and on foot, you can explore the "Land of Lakes" and get to know the dense primeval forests and glistening lakes of Mecklenburg. In the midst of the enchanting landscape of lakes and hills, mighty castles, magnificent churches and manor houses with extensive parks are reminders of the eventful history of this region. As you glide through the water in a kayak, only the splashing of the paddles and the chirping of birds interrupts the deep silence. Lush green trees line the banks and provide shade.
