Just a few minutes' walk from the house you will find very good restaurants: Gartenrast and Schnitselwirt Wanker. Across the street from Gartenrast is the Shilling brewery, where you can sample home-brewed beers such as the famous "granaatbeer" every weekend, really worth trying.
