Description
To the juniper heath
In the heart of the Volcanic Eifel region, in the small village of Bleckhausen, at an altitude of approximately 500 meters above sea level, nestled between the Kleine Kyll and Lieser rivers, lies your holiday home with its impressive views of the surrounding mountains. This comfortably furnished, traditional Eifel farmhouse, built in 1856, offers approximately 100 square meters of living space and was renovated in 2016. Throughout all the work on and in the holiday home, we were careful to preserve its charm and original character. Country-style furniture, as well as paintings by old and new Eifel artists and the Düsseldorf School of Painting, reflect the spirit of the house and its surroundings.
Your holiday home features three bedrooms: one with a double bed, a cozy sitting area, and a small sink on the upper floor; the second with an extra-large double bed (220 cm long, 200 cm wide); and a small bedroom with two single beds on the first floor. Bed linens are included.
The spacious living and dining room with a wood-burning stove, large TV, Wi-Fi, and CD player is located on the first floor. From here, you have a magnificent view of the Volcanic Eifel hills. The bathroom with a bathtub and shower is also on the first floor.
On the ground floor, you'll find the cozy dining room (Heidestube) with a traditional corner bench and paintings of heathland, fields, and meadows. The well-equipped kitchen leads to the terrace, where you can enjoy panoramic views stretching for miles. A second terrace is located on the side of the house, ensuring you always have a sunny spot.
The fully fenced property of approximately 900 square meters is ideal for your four-legged friend.
