Just a few kilometers from St. Peter-Ording stands Horst am See.

Built in the 70s, the house lay dormant for quite some time before we discovered it in a small side street in the heart of Garding.

We knew pretty quickly: this would be our nest.
But we wanted a big one.
We wanted it cozy – but with plenty of light and air.
Informal – yet extraordinary.
Modern – but we also wanted to bring the decade it was born back to life.
What sounds like an either/or situation isn't really – because we simply went for it.

We renovated with a lot of heart and soul, doing as much as necessary while preserving as much as possible.

We mixed modern, functional living ideas with genuine vintage treasures and accessories from the 70s. Horst am See can accommodate up to 11 guests on a good 230 m² spread over two floors.

You can retreat to one of the 6 bedrooms at any time, while the open dining area and the large living room with a fireplace offer plenty of space for everyone!

The new bathrooms with walk-in showers offer relaxation or a real disco vibe at the touch of a button.

The fully equipped kitchen invites you to a grand cooking session, and throughout the house you'll find entertainment options such as high-speed internet, play areas, and TVs with Netflix and IPTV.

Not only is the house itself spacious, but so is the garden, which borders a small lake. On four terraces, you can enjoy the North Sea air while the grill heats up and the drinks chill.

For even more relaxation, our garden sauna with a small relaxation room has been available since spring 2021.

Thus, Horst am See has become a unique and spacious retreat for all those who want to spend their vacation with family and friends in a special atmosphere. Relaxed. Cozy. Exceptional.
