Holiday home in Garding with swimming pool
Just before St. Peter-Ording, in the heart of the small town of Garding, stands MELKMANNS. Built in the 1960s, the house was a dairy and grocery store in the 1970s – its owner drove around the countryside delivering milk. We've transformed, renovated, and modernized "the shop." The former sales area is now the living room, and the laundry room has been converted into a spa-like bathroom. The colorful mix of vintage, industrial design, and functional furniture gives MELKMANNS its own unique character. It's an individual, cozy place for anyone who wants to spend quality time with family and friends in a special setting.
MELKMANNS is a comfortable 130 square meters and offers ample space for 5-6 guests on two floors.
The three bedrooms, each a different size, offer plenty of room to relax. The largest bedroom also includes a table for working – if absolutely necessary – or playing games.
The smallest bedroom is furnished with two single beds.
MeLKMANNS is a unique and cozy place for anyone who wants to spend quality time with family and friends in a special setting. And should you want to take a nap or have one or two extra children on board, there's a sofa bed ready in the spacious hallway.
In the full bathroom, you can relax in the tub after a day at the beach, and then quickly jump under the shower in the downstairs shower room. Disco vibes included! Our sauna is also now ready for use, so nothing stands in the way of your wellness experience.
There's also a convenient guest toilet.
The fully equipped open-plan kitchen and dining area is the central hub, and everyone can really get comfortable together in the 40-square-meter living room in front of the huge TV with Netflix and IPTV.
For energy, we primarily rely on solar thermal energy. A modern pellet stove provides cozy warmth and hot water during the colder months.
Of course, fast fiber optic internet is available!
Plenty of space inside, plenty of space outside. In the long, narrow garden, you can enjoy the North Sea breeze in a deck chair and then end the day with a barbecue together.
