Our villa, built in the Cretan style from stone, is situated 200 meters above sea level in a quiet residential area on the outskirts of the village of Prines, just a few minutes from Rethymno.
The village center, with its tavernas, cafes, and small grocery store, is just a short walk away. Here, you can still experience the REAL CRETE, far removed from mass tourism, yet so close and easily accessible. The terraces offer spectacular views of the sea and mountains.
The villa, with its three bedrooms (two double beds and two single beds) and two bathrooms, is tastefully furnished and elegantly decorated. The unique atmosphere created by the solid stone construction is truly enchanting. The villa offers a high level of comfort and, thanks to underfloor heating, is a cozy holiday destination even in winter. The open fireplace invites you to enjoy cozy evenings during the winter months. The property includes a 35 sq m swimming pool with a children's pool. The terraces are furnished with attractive, new garden furniture (2023).
The house is ideal for families, but also suitable for small groups who want to spend an active holiday in Crete, such as cyclists, hikers, or triathletes. The location is also ideal for those interested in culture, as all parts of the island can be reached within a day trip.
