Holiday apartment in a charming old wooden house in the middle of Risør, the white town by the Skagerak. Stay in a grandmother house in the city center with a roof terrace with fantastic 360-degree view of the town and harbour. The holiday apartment has a small kitchen, living room and bathroom on the 1st floor, and three bedrooms and an extra toilet on the 2nd floor. One of the bedrooms is a walk-through room. Steep stairs to the roof terrace. Parking for a fee. Great starting point for experiencing all the events and festivals Risør has to offer, e.g. The wooden boat festival, the chamber music festival, and culture night. Many different shops, cafés, and restaurants as well as a cinema and a saltwater aquarium. Fresh bread and other baked goods can be bought from the bakery in the same street. We recommend at the Lighthouse in the neighborhood with various art exhibitions, and a trip to Urheia and the famous Risørflekken to enjoy the view of the archipelago. Bring swimwear and jump into the water at the beach on Holmen. The Øysang ferry, Norway's oldest wooden boat ferry, also brings cars, or you can enjoy the archipelago from one of the taxi boats. A trip to Jettegrytene outside the city is also recommended. Risør is not only a summer town, but well worth a visit in other seasons as well, e.g. at Christmas time. You might be lucky and experience a white Christmas in a white town! Visit Tvedestrand or one of the other southern towns. For the children, we recommend a trip to 'The Little Zoo’ at Brokelandsheia 22 km away.

We hadden een geweldige tijd hier! De appartement was gezellig en goed ingericht, perfect voor onze groep van vijf, We hebben vooral genoten van de nabijheid van het strand en lokale attracties, Slechts een korte rit naar prachtige wandelgebieden ook,
Ruime en goed uitgeruste vakantiehuis was perfect voor onze groep, We waardeerden het extra toilet op de tweede verdieping, wat de ochtenden veel gemakkelijker maakte, De gastheer was vriendelijk en behulpzaam, wat ons verblijf nog aangenamer maakte,
Ons verblijf in dit charmante vakantiehuis in Risør was werkelijk verrukkelijk! De appartement had alles wat we nodig hadden voor een gezin van vijf, van de volledig uitgeruste keuken tot de gezellige woonkamer, De steile trappen naar de dakterrasse waren een beetje een workout, maar de 360-graden uitzichten op de stad en de haven waren absoluut de moeite waard, We genoten van het verkennen van de lokale winkels en cafés, vooral de bakkerij net om de hoek, De locatie is perfect om de levendige festivals van de stad te ervaren, en we maakten zelfs een mooie trip naar de nabijgelegen stranden, Zeer aan te bevelen voor een gedenkwaardig uitje!
Dit vakantiehuis in Risør is een hele vibe, De uitzichten vanaf de dakterrassen zijn letterlijk ongeëvenaard, perfect voor zonsondergang foto's, De gezellige vibe geeft grote energie van oma's huis, en de locatie is ongeëvenaard, Zoveel schattige cafés en winkels in de buurt, Ook een korte wandeling naar het strand, 10/10 zou het aanbevelen voor een ontspannen uitje met vrienden,
We had a lovely time at the holiday home in Risør! The place was spacious enough for our group of five and really felt like a home away from home, I loved the old wooden charm of the house, and the kitchen was well-equipped for our cooking adventures, The location is perfect, just a short walk to cute cafes and the beach, We even caught the wooden boat festival, which was a highlight, Only downside was the steep stairs to the terrace, but totally worth it for the view!
Overall, a pleasant experience, The location is great, close to shops and restaurants, The apartment was clean and functional, though a bit dated, If you're looking for a homey vibe, this is the place for you,
