This is a wonderful place with quiet surroundings and possibilities for mountain and forest hiking. This part of the island has several lakes and rivers where you can fish, given that you have a fishing license. The children can experience new born lambs on the farm most of the summer. This is a great starting point for day excursions with car to the many fishing villages in the area. Experience whale safaris in Andenes.
