The holiday park Frankenau is known due to its location in the midst of the beautiful nature, not far from the famouse Sauerland. The park is hidden between the green of the Sternberg border, directly along the national park Kellerwald - Edersee. You literally here within several steps in the national park, where you can make lovely walks through the hilly landscape. You can visit the park with the guidance of a forester, who will tell you everything about its history.
The holiday house is situated on one of the most beautiful spots of the holiday park. From here, you have a beautiful wide view on Frankenau and its surroundings. Attention: the top floor is only accessible from the outside; a separate staircase brings you there.
Close by you will find the biggest lake of Germany, the Edersee. At this outstretched lake, you can go diving, surfing, water skiing, canoeing and boat sailing, fishing and swimming. Then this region is very interested in culture-historic cities like Bad Arolsen, Frankenberg, Waldeck and Bad Wildungen. In the winter you can go skiing and langlauf in teh vicinity of Winterberg or Willingen.
The holiday park has the following facilities (at a cost): playground, beachvolleyball, tennis (indoor and outdoor), table tennis, billiards, bicycle hire, play hall with computer games, internet, small zoo, squash, minigolf, restaurant and guided walks.

Mooie woning en omgeving
Over het algemeen was het een aangenaam verblijf. Het huis is goed ingericht en heeft een heerlijke rustieke charme. We hebben genoten van de volledig uitgeruste keuken en de barbecueplek buiten. Het was een uitstekende uitvalsbasis om de nabijgelegen steden Pisa en Lucca te verkennen.
Spacious enough for our family, but I found the layout a bit quirky, The living room was lovely, but the bedrooms felt a bit cramped with the low ceilings, Still, we enjoyed our stay overall,
Het huis was ruim en schoon. Er was voldoende ruimte voor onze groep van 6. We waardeerden de meerdere badkamers, waardoor het makkelijker werd om ons 's ochtends klaar te maken. Een geweldige plek voor een familievakantie!
Over het algemeen is dit een goede keuze voor wie op zoek is naar een goedkope maar charmante plek om te verblijven in Den Haag. De sfeer is gezellig en het ligt dicht bij veel bezienswaardigheden zoals het Mauritshuis en Madurodam.
We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in het ruime appartement in Dramalj! De locatie is perfect, op korte loopafstand van het strand van Dramalj, Het appartement was schoon en had alles wat we nodig hadden voor ons familie-uitje, Het zwembad was een geweldige bonus, vooral voor de kinderen,
