Situated directly between the states of Salzburg and Carinthia, it offers 80 kilometres of slopes for both relaxed and sporty skiing and snowboarding, along with 17 modern lifts and snow safety thanks to its altitude of 1,170-2,220 m. With the neighbouring Grosseck-Speiereck ski area, the small, family-friendly ski area of Fanningberg, and the well-known Obertauern ski area, there are approximately 250 kilometres of slopes accessible throughout the entire ski area.
