Description
This modern, spacious semi-detached chalet for a maximum of 6 guests is located in Kötschach-Mauthen in Carinthia, directly on the slopes of the Kötschach-Mauthen-Vorhegg ski area. The chalet is also an excellent starting point for beautiful hiking trails through the region and is located in the border triangle of Austria - Italy - Slovenia.
You live on the left side of the chalet, which has a large living room with a sofa bed, a fully equipped open kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 1 of which is a loft with 2 single beds that can be joined together, a ski room, a covered sunny terrace, a balcony and a carport.
Ski-in - ski-out, the chalet is located directly on the slopes and approx. 100 meters from the ski lift, which takes you directly to the Kötschach - Mauthen - Vorhegg ski area, a small but nice ski area with 6 km of ski slopes and 37 km of cross-country ski trails brings.
Kötschach-Mauthen is located at the upper end of the Carinthian Gailtal, embedded in breathtaking mountain formations, belongs to the Nassfeld - Pressegger See tourism region and offers a good selection of restaurants and shops, all hiking and cycling tours, the Hike World with 25 themed trails and a large swimming pool ( Aquarena water and wellness oasis). Other ski areas in the region include the Nassfeld ski area with 110 kilometers of slopes, the Zettersfeld ski area at the foot of the Schleinitz in the Lienz Dolomites in East Tyrol with 21 kilometers of slopes or the Golzentipp family ski area in Obertilliach in the East Tyrolean Hochpustertal with 12 kilometers of slopes.
There are many activities such as walking, hiking and mountain biking. Also visit the Wolayersee and the Frischenkofel to experience the impressive mountains and lakes. In summer, the Waldbad Mauthen natural swimming pool or the Pressegger See east of Hermagor offer lots of swimming fun!

Nice house in a quiet area within walking distance of the village. Friendly welcome by the caretaker. Several restaurants in the area. Worth repeating.
Beautiful house in a quiet area a short walk from the center. There are 3 supermarkets and several good restaurants. Sufficient crockery, pans etc. in the house to possibly. to cook yourself. However, the bed in the bedroom with the balcony needs a new mattress. Furthermore, great stay and friendly reception by the caretaker who you can always call with questions.
Beautiful modern house, fully equipped! Beautiful location with lots of sun in the garden. In the village you have everything at hand, such as several supermarkets and restaurants. The area is wonderful for hiking and mountain biking! We enjoyed!
The caretaker was on the spot almost immediately and also ready in the meantime. Good welcome, with wine; his instructions were clear. The house was very comfortable, clean and very clean. Two bedrooms; good beds. Very quiet location, car great to park. Close by is a north-south / east-west intersection of through roads, which offers many and varied possibilities: there is plenty to do in the reasonably accessible environment. The nature nearby is very beautiful, especially the Lesachtal. Good restaurants nearby (also Italy)
The arrival was great and a quick handover of the house, the accommodation was awesome, the environment was super nice, so if you like nature is right here.
