This ski-in/ski-out chalet is just a few metres from the ski lift and slopes of the Kötschach - Mauthen - Vorhegg ski area, a small ski area with 6 km of ski slopes and 37 km of perfectly groomed cross-country trails. Other ski areas in the region include the Nassfeld ski area with 110 piste kilometres, the Zettersfeld ski area at the foot of the Schleinitz in the Lienzer Dolomites in East Tyrol with 21 piste kilometres and the Golzentipp family ski area in Obertilliach in East Tyrol with 12 piste kilometres. You can easily reach these ski resorts in 35-45 minutes by car.
Kötschach-Mauthen is part of the tourist region Nassfeld - Pressegger See and offers a good selection of restaurants and shops, various hiking and cycling tours, the 'Hike World' hiking world with 25 themed trails, the water and wellness oasis Aquarena and the small and idyllic natural swimming pool Waldbad Mauthen. The famous Carinthian lakes Pressegger See and Weissensee can be reached by car in 30-45 minutes.
