Il Borgo is a nice quiet agriturismo with a lovely swimming pool. It is a good base for excursions in the area, such as Cortona, Lake Trasimeno and Montepulciano. The owners are very friendly, but communication remains difficult because they only speak Italian.
Bakery around the corner, lots of beautiful scenery and charming villages in the area. Willingen is a lot to do and the food was great. Our apartment was spacious and neat as a friendly family!
We went to Il Borgo Due Olive. From May 10 to May 24, 2013 A small paradise at the foot of the beautiful town of Cortona. Time seemed to stand still, even the whistle of the train that comes by regularly gives something idyllic. We, two couples, were alone in the small apartment. If everything would be 4 houses and 1 apartment for 2 persons occupied it would be very busy geweest.Ook at the beautiful pool, which was very cold now, but we still swam hebben.De seignor Rodolfo owner is very friendly and helpful but speaks poor English which occasionally was difficult. Camucia is a small village with a supermarket, you can not ride a bike, yet wandelen.Cortona is very special and there are very good Tuscan eetgelegeheden.Vanuit Il Borgo you can quietly explore the whole area of u200bu200bLake Trasimeno by car. We went to Arezzo, Perugia, Assisi and all the small towns in those environments. So also Umbria verkend.Het is about 3 hours drive from Pisa airport. Friendly reception. Owner speaks some English. Cortona at 4 km. Distance. Also bus. From the cottage are not immediately walks, but the car is beautiful surroundings within easy reach. Many beautiful places. Public transport well. Wifi in the house.
The area is very nice and quiet. The house is fantastic and offers all the comforts (clean and robust, three bedrooms and bathrooms, large garden, pool and washing machine). The owner is friendly and helpful. From Cortona you in all directions (Florence, Siena, Pisa, Viareggio, Lucca, etc.). We have enjoyed.
