Had a fantastic holiday. The house was beautiful, clean, well maintained with a very nice manicured garden. The air conditioning was certainly an added value because it was 38 °
The house has everything you need for a nice holiday. Only downside is the remote location.
Very nice accommodation that was very clean on arrival. Everything described is present and in good condition - we only missed a parasol and large bath towels (only small towels were available). Not much to criticize so. The village itself is somewhat remote, count on a fifteen minute drive and go back to a good shop / bakery (so you will lose half an hour if you want bread "early in the morning). For the rest it is a very beautiful area with a lot to do: picturesque villages, countless vineyards, Carcassonne, Narbonne, Mediterranean Sea, Canal du Midi ... are all within 30-40 minutes by car. Reception was a bit short and difficult (but are of course due to the Corona measures).

This holiday home is fantastic. very pleasant to be in the garden. swimming pool very pleasant. Air conditioning was very welcome in the warm weather we had. Certainly the dog could appreciate this. Also in the evening it was pleasant to be at the pool or on the covered terrace at the house. The house itself was very neat. Only the beds were a bit hard but we solved this by placing 2 mattresses on top of each other. However, for us a downside was that the house was not fenced well enough.There was a part that was only closed by barbed wire and parts where the dog could go in. The rest was nicely closed with wire.Pity so that our dog could not get loose.After consultation with the owners it was promised that this problem was going to be addressed.Was very unfortunate because otherwise this is a blissful place.
The property is very quiet and secluded. You need your car (+/- 10km) to go to the next village for groceries, etc. Upon arrival there appeared to be a leak in the pool, this could be temporarily resolved with the garden hose to refill a little, this made the water back colder, nevertheless the pool is heated. When it rains for a few days, as with us in September, the water cools even more ... The plot and garden is also very spacious, but not really equipped with a lawn, it is rather a small grove. The garden is also not completely fenced. A certain piece is only barbed wire, where a small dog could escape! Incidentally, the house was very neat and well maintained. Very spacious with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. I recommend families with children who want to spend a peaceful holiday. We had a good holiday thanks to the good weather. Hopefully the swimming pool problem will be solved soon!
