The country house is located in the picturesque village of Feistritz ob Bleiburg, in the sunny south of Carinthia, near the border with Slovenia. Thanks to the mild climate and numerous hours of sunshine, you can enjoy extensive views over hills, mountains, forests, and valleys.
The Petzen ski area, with over 15 km of slopes, is located less than 2 km from the country house, and it also features the famous Bike Park Petzen. Other ski areas, such as Klippitztörl and Koralpe, can be reached in about 20–30 minutes by car. The region also offers beautifully maintained cross-country skiing trails, as well as a wide range of hiking and biking routes.
For watersports and sunshine, lake Klopeiner See, known as the warmest swimming lake in Europe, with a charming promenade along the water, is less than a 25-minute drive away. Other lakes within a short distance from the country house include the beautiful and idyllic Turner See, Sonnegger See, and Pirkdorfer See. The lively lake Wörthersee, with cozy terraces and charming towns such as Velden, Pörtschach, and Maria Wörth/Reifnitz, can be reached by car in about 1 hour.
Throughout the year, this holiday region is ideal for cyclists and mountain bikers, featuring challenging routes and the spectacular Bikepark Petzen. In Feistritz ob Bleiburg and the nearby villages, you will find plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafés, while Slovenia offers additional cultural and culinary excursions!
