The country house is located in the picturesque village of Feistritz ob Bleiburg, in the sunny south of Carinthia and close to the border with Slovenia. Thanks to the mild climate and many hours of sunshine, you will enjoy extensive views of hills, mountains, forests and valleys here.
The region offers an extensive network of hiking and cycling routes, from quiet walks to challenging panoramic tours. In winter, ski resorts such as Klippitztörl, Petzen and Koralpe can be reached within 25-30 minutes, with clear slopes for families and beginners. Beautifully maintained cross-country trails can also be found here.
For water sports and sunshine, lake Klopeiner See, known as the warmest swimming lake in Europe with an attractive waterside promenade, is less than a 25-minute drive away. Further away are the beautiful and idyllic lake Turnersee and lake Sonnegger See. The lively Wörthersee with its cosy terraces and charming towns such as Velden, Pörtschach and Maria Wörth/Reifnitz can be reached in about 1 hour by car.
