Description
Blockhaus am Templiner See mit Seeblick
A charming wooden house on a gentle slope, complete with a sauna and rowboat, in a fantastic location directly on Lake Templin. Enjoy magnificent views across the water from the cozy, covered terrace. The western half of the lake lies within the town limits of Templin, but only the southern shore is developed. Here you'll find the local public bathing area with a beach, boat rentals, a snack bar, and sports facilities. In its westernmost section, the lake narrows considerably and merges into a canal that winds its way for several kilometers to Lake Röddelin. This canal then leads to the Havel River and thus to the major waterways.
For anglers: Lake Templin is exceptionally rich in fish and known for its large zander and carp. Pike, tench, crucian carp, chub, burbot, eels, perch, and catfish are also frequently found. The lake is exclusively managed by the German Angling Association (DAV). Fishing permits and further information are available from the KAV Templin angling club, in fishing shops, or at the tourist information office.
