Beautiful chalet near the forest in Malmedy

Located in Mont, this secluded chalet is perfect for a weekend getaway. It can accommodate up to 8 guests and has 3 bedrooms. The furnished garden in the chalet offers some relaxing time after a long day.
The nearest restaurants are only 1 km away from the chalet. The supermarket is 3 km away from the property, if you run out of your essentials. The lake is only 5 km away whereas the forest is only 100 m away.
Electric heating and stove are installed for you to have a comfortable stay inside. A private terrace is perfect to relish a sizzling platter of barbecue with your loved ones. 1 pet can stay in the chalet at a nominal charge. Parking is available on the premises.
The guests' can check-in from 4-6 PM and check-out can be done from 9-10 AM.

Lovely large accommodation in beautiful setting.
Perfect holiday home for family groups. Everything available what is needed. The three bedrooms each have a bathroom. Location perfect base for walks, mountain bike tours, .... Restaurant within walking distance, Malmedy with lively center 5 minutes by car.
Arrival fine, just not the house in the picture. No view but a hedge at the end of the wooden terrace and houses in front of it. The house with a view is next to it and I think is privately owned. Lots of loose parts in the wooden terrace. House is dated, kitchen bad and old. Some cupboard doors almost fell out. There were hardly any symbols on the oven, so that you could not read / set a position / temperature. Old microwave. Two kinds of tiles on the floor and everything just about clean. Salon and living room cozy but also old, worn sofa, cushions etc. Downstairs toilet old, damaged tile / woodwork etc. Downstairs bedroom in the same condition, a lot of damage. Only an undercover on the bed and no sheet. Little bathroom old with dirty sealant edges and dirty shower curtain. Upstairs two bedrooms that looked a lot better. But here in one room only a cover on the bed and on the bed in the other room there was no cover or sheet at all. Mattresses with stains so not very fresh. In short, I am not impressed. There is a lot to improve here.
Upon arrival, the owner met us immediately and kindly explained everything. The house is very beautiful and fully equipped. Located in a quiet area, close to Malmedy. Within walking distance also a restaurant.
The arrival was well arranged. The owner lives diagonally opposite the accommodation and had just put the key in the lock. The accommodation was prime and as stated. Unfortunately we could not find the forest at 100 m.
