Description
The spacious holiday home is located in picturesque Frankenau. In the basement there is a leisure room with a table tennis table, a storage room for bicycles, a washing machine and a separate shower. You also have a sauna at your disposal (on request at a price of 40€ per stay of maximum one week). The holiday home is ideal for a vacation with families.
A bakery, butcher, supermarket and several restaurants are located between 100 and 500 metres from the house. Frankenau is known for its location and beautiful nature on the edge of the Sauerland. You are very close to the Kellerwald National Park, where you can go on beautiful hikes through the hilly landscape. Germany's largest reservoir, the Edersee, is also nearby. In this large lake you can go diving, sailing, surfing, water skiing, canoeing, boating, fishing or swimming. This area is also of cultural and historical interest, and the towns of Bad Arolsen, Frankenberg, Waldeck and Bad Wildungen are well worth a visit. In winter you can go skiing and cross-country skiing in nearby Winterberg or Willingen. Let this marvellous region surprise you! You can also go on beautiful walks or cycling on mountain bikes to Fritzlar, Marburg, and Dillenburg.
This centrally heated home is comfortable with a hall, modern kitchen, living -dining room , and spacious bedrooms. The kitchen features a coffee makers for filter coffee, Senseo pods, or Nespresso cups also. There is a recreation room with table ttennis to have fun. You can enjoy a barbecue in the terrace during the evenings. 3 pets are allowed at $ 8 per pet per night. You can park cars free of charge here. Garage can be rented on request €5.
Public transport (200 m), train station (15 km), and motorway (30 km) are near to the home.

This is a comfortable and very complete holiday home. A day of "staying at home" is no problem. The children are entertained with the table tennis table. The surrounding area is very suitable for a wonderful (evening) walk the village is situated in an arable area with good asphalt roads.
The environment calls for outdoor activities beautiful forest and lake. The weather was not so good during our vacation and in the immediate vicinity are not many indoor activities. A car is necessary. The house is spacious, but somewhat dated. Shame there was only one toilet. The rented linens were downright bad (did not fit and had holes in them). Fortunately, the pingpong table made a lot of good!
Great house for a few days in a nice area. Nice walk and good food im Hessian Court.
We have 9 people stayed at this property for a week and it was fine. There is much to see for young and old in the vicinity and a week is too soon too short. It is a large house with plenty of sleeping. As computer freak, I have an Internet connection and missed by the dish were just Netherlands 1, 2 and 3 received. In a home for so many people you expect a toilet but it was not there.
It is a nice big holiday home, everything you need is there. Everything is also neat and clean and there are plenty of plates / glasses, etc. The car can also be parked in the private driveway. The village where the house is located is not very special, but 2 restaurants, and -for the MTB-er- it is located directly on the Kellerwald. Because the weather was not great, we were happy with a larger house. In the basement is an (infrared) sauna and a ping pong table, the latter is often used by us. The cities of Marburg (recommended) and Kassel are a 45-minute drive away. For the teenagers who were with us, there was a good WiFi connection, which is nowadays a 1st necessity of life. We had a nice week here. The only downside I think is that you have to pay for your consumption afterwards (water / oil / electricity), this should have been included in the booking price.
Quiet area, large house. All information may be offered centrally, for example in the Belvilla brochure. Now you miss everything because apparently there was something in a kitchen cupboard or socket.
