To the east, twelve kilometers away, is the summit of the Brocken. The photos are outdated and do not correspond to the local conditions, the garden is completely full of rubbish, you write that it is being gradually renovated, the end of the renovation should be awaited,
Lovely cool house. Nice living room and kitchen with a view of hills and houses. Occasionally a squirrel comes by and sometimes even peeks in to see if there is anything to get. Bathroom is fine. Beds could be a little better. The area is beautiful, lots to see and experience. Bakker is very close so every morning you can get delicious fresh bread.
A fantastic base for exploring Altenau! The nearby herbal park was a delightful surprise, and we loved visiting the private brewery, The hosts were very accommodating and friendly,
The entire experience was enjoyable, The children loved playing in the garden, and we appreciated the spaciousness of the chalet, A nice getaway from the city!
Het chalet is heel charmant en heeft een leuke traditionele charme. Het was goed ingericht en bood alle nodige comfort. Het enige nadeel was de parkeerplaats, maar die was niet te ver om te bereiken.
