After your return, you can visit the Kristalltherme Heißen Brocken, where you can spend relaxing and restful hours.
The climatic health resort of Altenau is not only one of the starting points for hikes on the Harzer Hexenstieg, but also houses the largest herb park in Europe with a beautiful spice gallery. You should also not miss a visit to the Altenau private brewery with a guided tour and tasting. It is the only remaining brewery in the Upper Harz. Altenau is located in the middle of the Upper Harz, around ten kilometers from Clausthal-Zellerfeld and 15 kilometers from Goslar. To the east, 12 kilometers away, is the peak of the Brocken.

This was the second year we celebrated Christmas and New Year at the Bärenhütte. This year's review is a bit shorter than last year's, but the stay was just as great. We had a wonderful time and hope to come back again in the future!

De locatie is geweldig voor verkenningen! Dichtbij het grootste kruidenpark in Europa en de brouwerijtour was een ervaring, Zeker terugkomen!

We had a lovely stay at the Ferienwohnung in Altenau, The view from the terrace was stunning, really set the mood for our getaway, I appreciated how well-equipped the place was
La vue depuis notre terrasse était à couper le souffle, surtout le matin, L'emplacement est paisible mais assez proche pour profiter des attractions locales comme le Baumwipfelpfad Harz
