Agriturismo La Grotta di Montecchino is located in the heart of Tuscany, making it an ideal base for day trips to the most architecturally and scenically interesting places in our region. There are also several leisure activities nearby, such as horseback riding (approx. 2 km) and tennis (approx. 300 m). A bus to town runs every 30 minutes. Visitors with diverse interests can easily reach famous art cities like Florence (55 km), San Gimignano (45 km), Volterra (70 km), Perugia-Assisi (110 km), Monte Amiata (80 km), or the magnificent Tyrrhenian coast.
The city center of Siena is only 5-6 km away, and the nearest town is just 2-3 km away.
Our apartments are located in restored old farmhouses that have retained the characteristic style of bygone eras while offering all the modern comforts.
Our guests will find not only soothing peace and relaxation here, but also many opportunities to experience our simple traditions, rooted in our old and wholesome farming culture, where time was simply a means to an end and imposed no constraints on daily life.
App Uva is located on the raised ground floor (approximately 10 steps). It includes a garden area with a table and chairs. (Living/dining room with kitchenette, 1 bedroom with a double bed, 1 bedroom with a queen-size bed (the bathroom is accessed from here).)
