Located between the 2 major rivers Lot and Dordogne, this is an area of great beauty; you can enjoy hiking through the forests, cycling along the Lot River, visiting the vineyards of Cahors and strolling through the many markets and enjoying a terrace. Rent a canoe in Cenac and float slowly down the river, while enjoying magnificent views of the castles and quaint towns such as La Roque Gajac.
Sarlat and Domme are definitely worth a visit, as are the Bastide Monpazier, the Pont Valentré in Cahors and you will be short of time!
