Comfortable half-detached country house on the property of the host family in Kägsdorf, a quiet rural village between the Baltic Sea resorts of Kühlungsborn (4 km) and Rerik (4 km). The sea and the Baltic Sea beach are only 1.5 km away. The two half-detached houses are also ideal for an XXL vacation with friends or a large family.
The half-detached house has its own entrance and can accommodate a maximum of 6 people. The ground floor houses the living area with a well-equipped kitchenette and a guest toilet. The upper floor has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. The half-detached house has its own sun terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue. A shared children's playground is located directly next to the house. The shared playground is located at the host's neighboring country house. Here, guests' children can play and romp to their heart's content.
The beautiful Baltic Sea beach in the village is popular with locals and insiders. There is a beach snack bar in summer. Kägsdorf is a holiday resort located between the Baltic Sea resorts and is exempt from tourist tax. The resort offers a bicycle rental (delivery service) as well as a small snack bar and kiosk.

We had a great vacation. The landlords are very personable. The holiday home is modern and well equipped (dishwasher, washing machine, changing table, cot, free WiFi, barbecue ...) and the beds are comfortable. We felt very comfortable and our daughter loved the garden with the trampoline, swings, rabbits and chickens! The only point of criticism is that there are no real blackout blinds in the bedrooms - this is not ideal with small children in summer.
The arrival was difficult as your documents indicated picking up the key for the accommodation at a different address. Only after some search we came on it, to ask the key directly from the landlord.
In and of itself it was ok. But hygienically underwhelming. Ants run around in the entrance area, above the dining table. The shower is germ and dirt. Dust and cobwebs everywhere. Broken light bulb in bedroom bedside lamp. Risk of injury. Extractor hood light defective thus cooking in the dark. The climbing frame is past its best. Rotten and ailing. No trampoline border, risk of injury for children. We were not properly welcomed, no introduction and explanation. When you leave, simply leave the key in your car and go. Thank you for staying, but we won't be back.

Insgesamt ein angenehmes Erlebnis, Das Haus war sauber und hatte alles, was wir für unseren Aufenthalt benötigten, Die nahegelegenen Seen waren perfekt für einen Tagesausflug, und wir fanden einige schöne Speisemöglichkeiten in der Umgebung, Die Gastgeber waren freundlich und reagierten auf unsere Anfragen
The location is fantastic, tucked away in a quiet area yet close enough to the beach, We spent our days cycling and walking along the coast, The house felt like a home away from home, and we were grateful for the pet-friendly policy, as we brought our dog along
