The location of this chalet is beautiful, large garden, lots of greenery and tranquility. Beautiful area for long (forest) walks. Unfortunately, the house itself is a smoker's house, contrary to what is stated, and the smoke smell was hard to get out. It was somewhat manageable with lots of skies and scented candles. The internet speed is old-fashioned slow, insufficient for things that require speed.
The chalet is located in a quiet place with a huge garden behind the house, overlooking a beautiful valley. The reception was not good: there was no one at the specified address between 4 and 6 pm, so we were standing in front of a closed door. After a lot of searching and calling neighbors etc. a woman came up, not the owner, who wanted to guide us to the chalet that is outside the village. She gave a short tour and disappeared again. The house is not very user-friendly: steep narrow stairs, one without a railing, worn duvets and seats, everything has been cleaned only superficially. The kitchen is well equipped. Bathrooms are modern and good. Midway through the second week, the owner showed up to mow the lawns. Those who like peace and quiet and do not make many demands can have a great stay. Price-quality ratio is not in balance.
check-in was not easy, they were not well informed about our arrival and what we had rented, the concierge helped us after that by bringing a bbq and 2 garden relaxes, because there is only a garden set with chairs that you can hardly move very heavy, you can see from the kitchenware that the owner is a lover of flea markets, the salon also comes from the thrift shop I think, there is privacy ?? people come down the grass unannounced, if you know that it is as big as a football field, so a few hours of noise, must happen, yes, but then warn !! owner was on site but did not show himself, positive note, good shower! no more for us!!
Zeer slechte hygiëne, aantoonbaar niet schoongemaakt; vervolgens te langdurige en onvoldoende opvolging op verzoek tot terugbetaling van schoonmaakkosten. Conclusie: zeer slechte ervaring met gehuurde huis en zeer slechte ervaring met opvolging door klantenservice van Belvilla
Over het algemeen was het verblijf aangenaam. De eigenaren waren vriendelijk en gaven nuttige tips om de omgeving te verkennen. Er waren boswandelingen om de hoek en we hebben zelfs een leuke dag gehad met kajakken op de rivier. Een echte aanrader voor natuurliefhebbers!
