This provencial 3-bedroom holiday home in Loubejac is ideal for a small group or a family travelling with children. Located in the countryside, this home also has a private swimming pool to enjoy.
This holiday home is peacefully located in the countryside near Loubejac and Villefranche-du-Périgord. The region is truly beautiful, characterized by green landscapes dominated by wooded areas (many chestnut trees), meadows, and fields of corn and tobacco. The garden, private pool, and views are stunning. Access to the house is via a lovely stone staircase and a small terrace. The interior features plenty of wood and some antique pieces.
In the medieval bastide of Villefranche-du-Périgord, you can enjoy shopping. It has a charming market square with arcades and a very old covered market still in use for selling mushrooms and chestnuts. Nearby, there are various swimming lakes, such as Prats-du-Périgord (13 km) and Frayssinet (10 km).
Don't miss the stunning bastide of Monpazier (22 km) and the small medieval towns of Belvès (27 km), Villeréal (36 km), and the beautiful Cahors (42 km), where you can see the lovely Valentré bridge. A visit to the Eyzies de Tayac caves (Grand Roc Cave, 50 km; Font de Gaume Cave, 48 km; Roc de Cazelle Cave) offers fun and educational insights into prehistory.

house with a beautiful garden and many opportunities to make excursions in the area. You have to keep in mind that everything is a short drive. had a great holiday.
For the 2nd time we stayed in this holiday home (2017/2022). It went well the first time, otherwise you won't go for a second time. Extremely friendly welcome by José, he mainly speaks French and a few words of English. His daughter is fluent in English. More than enough pots of pans and knives with which you can actually cut something. The pool is great, around the pool you can lie in the sun all day long. José cleans the pool daily and does this at a time when you do not want to be awake during your holiday. We do have some comments by now: -if you are taller than 1.75 meters (I am more than 1.95 m) it is a challenge to get your head in the shower.-the beds are as you expect them in a French house, short, narrow and rock-hard.-fitted sheets have yet to be invented, you sleep on the molton.-the house is in the list as a 6 person house. However, it is more likely that you can sleep with 6 people. The house is fully furnished on the outside, if you have a few days with bad weather it is tight bivouac inside. Do not read this review as a negative, it is a super nice house in a beautiful and very quiet area. However, I would advise not to stay there with more than 4 people and to bring a fitted sheet yourself.
The welcome was very friendly and warm, the house was more than we expected and around the house are terraces so you can always sit in the sun. The environment was quiet, but pleasant. Beautiful walks and all amenities within an acceptable distance. Swimming pool is not heated

The welcome was very warm with even a present and flowers on the dining table. We were given a tour of the house with an explanation from Mrs Pomes. The house is really beautiful, large and the inventory is complete. The pool is great and is indeed cleaned every day early in the morning by Mr. Pomes. You have to drive a bit for the groceries. The house is somewhat remote from the civilized world.
