This cozy and charming apartment is located, along with three others, in a large estate with two completely restored houses. The apartment is air-conditioned, tastefully decorated and finished with distinctive details. The estate, of about 40 hectares, houses a lake, surrounded by woods, large enough for fishing, and an example of architecture of the Roman period. Together with the occupants of the other apartments, you will have access to a large swimming pool with children’s pool area, outdoor shower, playground, small playground and a patio with seating. The outdoor garden adjacent to the pool is divided into private areas each with its own sunbeds and umbrellas.
The apartment is located just 3 kilometers from the village of Foiano della Chiana, where you can do your daily shopping, have a good meal and find the train station. Cortona, about 20 kilometers away, is really worth a visit. This city is situated on top of a hill and is one of the oldest cities in Italy - it is truly amazing. For shopaholics, there are outlet shops in Foiano della Chiana, 9 kilometers from the house.
Lake Trasimeno is 25 km away and is worth a visit. In addition, cities like Arezzo (30 km), Siena (50 km) and Perugia (65 km) are highly recommended for a fun day out.

Super nice owner, wonderful view, always happy
Great place to spend your vacation. The view from the terrace is enchanting, the atmosphere is great and the hosts do everything to make your stay enjoyable. We even got cake and wine on the house. The cottage itself is fine and simple. This is certainly an address for us to return to.
We had a fantastic holiday. We are well looked after. The owner is very helpful. Every Monday / Tuesday delicious fresh cake or cake and on Thursday fresh pizza. Swimming pool is clean and well maintained. Everything is well organized with the corona. Would go here again in a minute. And recommended!
Due to a delay in the delivery of the rental car, we suffered a considerable delay, but that was no problem for the owners on late arrival. We had a wonderful stay in this accommodation. The Portico della Volpe apartment was very neat and spacious. The view from the terrace was fantastic. And we had a lot of privacy. The owners are very friendly and warm people and nothing was too much for them. On Tuesday we were spoiled with a home-baked cake and on Thursday they made fresh pizza with ingredients from our own home for all guests. The bread service was ideal and the pool super. Everything was also very well maintained and cared for. The accommodation was also centrally located to discover a large part of Tuscany and Umbria. Overall a beautiful holiday at a wonderful address. Recommended!
Nice, well-kept and well-furnished holiday home with a wonderful swimming pool. The houses are next to a working farm. The owners are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. During our stay we were given homemade cake and pizza. Nice destinations are easy to drive to. A lot of flies and mosquitoes, but all together we had a very nice week.
Everything went really well. Great accommodation, pool and grounds are well maintained. The hosts are very welcoming people.
