Other attractive beaches such as La Liscia, Liamone, Lava or Rocca Marina can be found in the vicinity. The small bathing and fishing town of Tiuccia is about 20 km from Ajaccio on the Gulf of Sagone. There are some restaurants and shopping nearby. You can drive to the island's capital, Ajaccio, in around 45 minutes. In the season, the excursion boats go to the Iles Sanguinaires several times.
