The medieval hamlet of Serignana dates back to the 13th century and is located on the edge of the National Park of the Casentinesi Forests, Mount Falterona and Campigna. Its careful restoration has created charming flats with attention to every detail that still preserve all the magic, history and culture of Tuscan tradition. From here you can set off on wonderful excursions, immersing yourself in an environment, the Tuscan Apennines, whose nature is unequalled in beauty and wild authenticity.
CASA GRANDE 1 has independent access from the park: large kitchen, living room with fireplace and double sofa bed, two double bedrooms, bathroom with shower. Wooden ceilings and original terracotta floors. Outside space for private use with a table for lunch. Around the large and charming park that surrounds the entire Borgo, with swimming pool and barbecue. Free HIFI. A communal area called ‘Grottino’ is available to guests of the Borgo where everyone can stay and find books to read, magazines, tourist brochures of the area and Florence, children's games, board games. A small gym set up in the ‘Stanza dei Portali’ is also available from 15 June to 30 September. Groceries, bar and restaurant at km. 1.5; supermarkets at km. 15. For those who love a holiday in nature, it will not be difficult to spot on the property typical specimens of the Tuscan Apennine fauna such as roe deer, deer, wild boar, porcupines, hawks, hares, pheasants and with a bit of luck the wolf.
Just a few hundred metres from the Borgo you can go sport fishing, trekking on foot, horseback or mountain-bike, visit the numerous waterfalls and the important peaks of the Apennines. In the Mugello area about 20-30 km away are: the archaeological site of Frascole (Dicomano), Lake Bilancino, the International Mugello Circuit, the Poggio dei Medici Golf Course.

Very friendly lady who received us! Nice house, nice rooms. Pleasantly surprised! A few downsides: It is a long drive until you reach a supermarket. In the village nearby there is a small shop, but the offer is limited. The road to and from the Borgo is very steep and in poor condition. We did hear a lot from those who stayed above us. We missed mattresses on the seats at the pool. But everything else was great! There is also a beautiful waterfall at the bottom of the mountain around which the Borgo stands. Great to walk from the Borgo to there in a beautiful setting!
Top location. Many ridden with MTB and used engine (BMW GS ideal for the region). We had the whole domain for us only what was super. This used to be actually a small village. And that atmosphere is unique. Also friendly people who were always very willing. Not everything was perfect but they did their best.
Especially nature is very beautiful. The estate is secluded and since we were the only tenants it was very quiet except on weekends. Many hikers also above us. The cottages are alright but as mentioned this was only on weekends. Nicoletta is a very nice woman and very committed to her guests.
Wonderfull environment. Spacious house with large kitchen. Very nice and helpful owner. Ideal for peace seekers and nature lovers.
We had a great time in the magic casa grande.Ein place full, down to earth, spacious, safe, home away from home for children, adult dog and a wonderful location. We are grateful to have spent our holidays
Location and proper name of the domain "Borgo di Serignana" The village where this field is called "il Castagno D 'Andrea." And not San Godenzo The property is very nice and mostly quiet "remote" Built in the Middle Ages. nicely restored from existing materialen.Stijlvol furnished, new plumbing, and kitchen are Our initial condition brought equipped with modern conveniences. (dishwasher, oven) Microwave, coffee not present ideal for walkers, not for those who wish to visit. surrounding towns Dicomano 20km/30 min vindt.Toegangsweg where everything is very steep climb from 1km to the domain after 1km plummeting road in poor condition!. Notwithstanding the weaknesses described this location has attracted us because of its location, pool and beautiful nature .
