The medieval hamlet of Serignana dates back to the 13th century and is located on the edge of the National Park of the Casentinesi Forests, Mount Falterona and Campigna. Its careful restoration has created charming flats with attention to every detail that still preserve all the magic, history and culture of Tuscan tradition. From here you can set off on wonderful excursions, immersing yourself in an environment, the Tuscan Apennines, whose nature is unequalled in beauty and wild authenticity.
SAGRESTIA 2 is located in the village square, next to the little church. Two-room apartment on the ground floor with independent entrance. It is composed of a living room/kitchen with a masonry worktop complete with dishwasher, fridge, hob and oven and has a sofa bed for two, double bedroom, bathroom with shower and window. Wooden ceilings, terracotta and stone floors. The flat is fully furnished and equipped with everything, complete with linen for the bedroom, for the bathroom, which has a hairdryer, and for the kitchen. Outside, the small niche enclosed by the wisteria pergola is a small secret garden with a table for outdoor dining for the flat's exclusive use. Surrounding the large and evocative park with swimming pool and barbecue. Free WIFI. From 15 June to 30 September there is also a small gym set up in the ‘Stanza dei Portali’. Groceries, bar and restaurant 1.5 km away; supermarkets 15 km away.
A few hundred metres from the Borgo you can go sport fishing, trekking on foot, horseback or mountain-bike, visit the numerous waterfalls and the important peaks of the Apennines. In the Mugello area about 20-30 km away are: the archaeological site of Frascole (Dicomano), Lake Bilancino, the International Mugello Circuit, the Poggio dei Medici Golf Course.

If you like a little adventure by car, this place is a must! In addition, you must be able to appreciate the silence and tranquility of nature. Lovely place to relax with a swimming pool. Further in the area little close. Supermarket is 30 min drive, in the village 10 min. you can get a delicious cup of coffee between the locals, 60 min. Nice lake where you can swim, day Florance 60 min. and walking routes in abundance throughout the area. The accommodation itself was clean, but simplistic. What does a person need?
We had a very nice stay at Serignana. The house and the location is just beautiful. You are surrounded by beautiful nature and nice walking paths from the nature park. Also, the host Nicoletta is very friendly and always ready to help. We will definitely come back!
Beautiful location to completely relax, great for true nature lovers. The view is great and the cottages are right on multiple hiking trails. With a 20-minute drive you are in a beautiful natural park where you can take great walks. Keep in mind that amenities such as a real supermarket are a 30-minute drive away. There is closer to a butcher, bakery and bar and a gas station. I would therefore recommend stocking up on some food before arrival! The dirt road is not in the best condition but it is doable with a little careful driving. With our 25 year old car we got up and down the mountain several times without any problems. There is excellent 4G reception and the WiFi also works perfectly. Furthermore, the caretaker is present every day and always available for questions. We had a wonderful stay here and enjoyed the view, the silence and the pool. We will definitely come back again!
Serignana is an amazing and truly unique place. We had such a great stay with our kids and our dog. Nicoletta is an amazing host who helped us greatly when our car broke down - really fantastic. We can't wait to return here!
A very nice environment and a nice stay. A few downsides are: 1. The road to the house is very difficult to pass, it is at least 1 km long unpaved road and the car was fairly damaged from underneath. Good to know is that the car must have some horsepower, otherwise it will have trouble getting back up on the steep dirt road. 2. Unfortunately, the bathroom was not quite to our liking, the shower had no curtain or wall and is located in the middle of the bathroom. The problem that arises is that after a shower, the entire bathroom is soaked. 3. There was a lot of dust in the house and it didn't seem very well cleaned. Furthermore, completely satisfied with the stay, sweet owner and a clean pool and again beautiful surroundings.
We enjoyed our little paradise for a week. What are the apartments there beautiful, a romantic location with beautiful views and a beautiful garden with pool. Everything is just right, the shadow spots the sun spots. The details in the apartments and the hospitable and always cheerful hostess Nicoletta. AWESOME!!!
