We had a nice weekend in a nice big house on Texel. Only the accommodation was quite worn out by the previous tenant. We could not use an oven. Burning products causes a burning air. That also remained when we kept the oven door closed and covered it with duck tape . the dishwasher made a drum sound when turned on very rotten sound. And in the sauna was a broken beer bottle stuck to the floor. This was partly caused by the group in front of us. Someone came by but could not do anything about it for us. We received a basket with nice products from Texel very sweet. But it does not solve our problem. I wanted to contact Belvilla but customer service was closed today. Very strange in this busy holiday period. That's why I put it on this review
Beautiful house, clean and beautifully decorated
Nice location and super nice house centrally on Texel. Friendly staff and good reception and communication. We are disappointed with the utensils used for cooking. The extractor hood is too low for tall people. Knives are dull and not all equipment worked properly. A blockage of the sink was immediately resolved. All in all very satisfied and we will definitely go back.
Had a great time on Texel. The house was beautiful and the "wellness cellar" was really great! However, the "jacuzzi" is more of a bubble bath and you can use it if you cram in a bit with 2 people. A pity because if you are in such a house with 10, we had hoped to be able to enjoy it with a little more at the same time. Because there are no pictures of the "wellness cellar", we did not have very high expectations. The sauna and steam shower were really great! The occasional rotation in the jacuzzi should not spoil the fun. had a good time! The house is surrounded by other houses so you do not really have much privacy. The house is also very noisy, thin walls. The sound from the living room was therefore clearly audible in the bedrooms, making the one with an earlier bedtime were often lifted out of their bed.There is also a service with which you can have bread delivered and in terms of kitchen utensils and crockery was fine, occasionally something was missing but that was easy to solve.
Nice house with a few negatives. The house smelled very like a dog on arrival. In addition, the kitchen is very minimally furnished. There were only a few paring knives (I was missing a carving knife and chef's knife), one small cutting board, small oven dishes, no measuring cup and a few dirty old frying pans. We bought something at the Blokker ourselves. With regard to the wellness facilities: the whirlpool was filled with brown water and there is no light in the sauna, so you are really in the dark when using it. All in all, therefore, some points for attention for the landlord.
Excellent stay, the house was identical to the pictures.
