After an eventful day in the Bavarian Forest, you can enjoy a restful night's sleep in one of the three sleeping areas. A double bed made of bamboo awaits you in the main sleeping area. You can reach the other separate sleeping areas via the suspension bridge on the top level. The in-house wellness area features a spacious sauna with lighting effects and a cosy adventure bathtub under a palm tree canopy with a window view. An absolute highlight is the free-hanging experience shower, which offers enough space for two people. The entire interior of the Samoa house is made of the finest materials, crafted with the highest level of craftsmanship and the finest wood technology. There is also the option of enjoying an extensive massage and beauty programme in the separate massage studio directly on the premises. Outside the holiday home, the Bavarian Forest offers a wide range of leisure activities: Hiking, mountain biking, Nordic walking, climbing, canoeing, adventure rafting and much more. The region around Viechtach also offers numerous activities in winter, including several ski resorts within a radius of 30 km (for example the Arber), cross-country ski trails, ice skating, tobogganing and snowshoeing.
Popular excursion destinations in the surrounding area include the Churpfalz Park (26 km), the Bayern Park (85 km), the western town of PullmanCity (65 km), the Große Arber mountain railway (30 km) and the three-river city of Passau (84 km). Like 10 years ago, a great apartment with good service.
Luxurious and special holiday home: sauna, spacious living room and master bedroom with bath, separate bathroom, fully glass shower that "floats" in the room, split level layout, well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, four more sleeping places accessible via a "walkway" so suitable for a family with children. Breakfast service so fresh croissants and rolls every morning. Spacious garden with a beautiful view of the area, quiet and good sun position. Very friendly owner who likes to make you feel at home. Beautiful area for cycling, motorcycling. The city of Prague is within reachable distance for a fun day out.
What a beautiful and atmospheric house! Super clean and everything has been thought of. Great view too. Friendly owner. No buts? Well, somewhat small kitchen, but everything is there, but that's the only thing. How beautiful it must be here in the summer! There is a small boat (Waldbahn) from the village which is free for guests and takes you to many places in the region. 6 berths, but keep in mind that if you are me you have little privacy in terms of sleeping….have fun!! The house is very nice and very clean. Very nice and friendly hosts and helpful. It was a very nice vacation and we will definitely come back to viechtach.
We stayed at Haus Samoa in Viechtach in autumn 2020. The weather was not nice, but the house was all the more beautiful, so that one liked to spend more time in the house than originally planned. Hand and bath towels are available, the beds were already made. All rooms are very spacious and very clean groomed. Many small and large extras make the house something special: suspension bridge instead of stairs to the 3rd floor, a "floating" shower, waterfall in the living room, reading bay, sauna etc. Only the kitchen is a bit small. The landlords are very friendly and offer a bread service (organic). It was a very relaxed week.
