Villa dei Tarocchi is located in the countryside, in a scenic spot suitable for beautiful walks in the hills and is only 3 km from the centre of Pistoia, a characteristic Tuscan city rich in history and monuments. In 2017, Pistoia was elected 'Italian Capital of Culture' and is definitely worth a visit.
The villa is in a central location for visiting the northern part of Tuscany. In particular, at a distance of about an hour's drive you will find: Florence with its art treasures (40 Km) Pisa (50 Km) with the Piazza dei Miracoli and the Leaning Tower, Lucca with its splendid city walls (45 Km) Montecatini and Monsummano with its thermal baths and grottoes (20 minutes), the high Tuscan-Emilian Apennines with its splendid mountains equipped for winter sports and for trekking and mountain-bike trips in summer. In addition, the most famous seaside resorts of Versilia (Viareggio, Lido di Camaiore and Forte dei Marmi) with dozens of kilometres of large, equipped sandy beaches can easily be reached in 50 minutes by motorway.
Upon arrival at Villa dei Tarocchi you will find a clean, holiday home with a view of the hills and Pistoia, perfect for a peaceful holiday in Tuscany. For your relaxation, you will have a large garden with a swing and hammocks, a barbecue and a swimming pool equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas for the exclusive use of our guests. The property is equipped with a well-equipped kitchen with coffee maker, oven, toaster, cooker and refrigerator, as well as sufficient crockery and cutlery for up to 8 to 10 people. If you prefer to eat outdoors, there is a furnished area in the garden where you can enjoy the good weather during your meals. We collaborate with the "LA FATTORIA" stud farm, which organises horseback riding trips in the surrounding countryside or woods for ages 14 and up. The pool is open from mid-April, however this is not guaranteed because it depends on the weather conditions, so the official date is from May 1st.

Casa Rosa is a nice house with a large garden near a beautiful medium-sized town, Pistoia. We have had two wonderful weeks. Directly across the road, just a 1-minute walk away, is the owners' house, including a second holiday home, with a beautiful, spacious and clean swimming pool in the garden with a view over the hills, which we use a lot in the heat. have made of. Plenty of sunbeds and chairs around the pool. Of the four bedrooms, three had air conditioning, the fourth could also have one, given the increasingly hot summers. But otherwise everything was pico bello. Two bathrooms with a good shower, a washing machine, espresso machine, cooking in a spacious kitchen (gas) with dining table, in the living room (large TV with Netflix!) there is a good fan. When we were there, last week of July and first week of August, it was really hot, so we kept the shutters and windows closed as much as possible during the day. As a result, it was dark inside during the day, but you can get over that. Moreover, the accompanying garden is so large that there is always somewhere to find a place with shade. There are plenty of chairs for the terrace and garden. In the garden there are also two hammocks hanging between the plum trees, which is great for relaxing (and falling asleep). The garden is very well cared for: everywhere you can see flowers, fruit trees and juicy green grass, even in these very dry hot weeks. For the bird lovers: we had a hoopoe (Italiana: "upapa", English: "hoopoe", Deutsch: "Wiedehopf") every day in the garden, which was a joy! The mattress on one bed was worn, but when I pointed this out to the owner, there was a brand new mattress on the bed that same day. That's what I call service! In any case, the owner is a very friendly and helpful, very sweet woman, which is very pleasant in communication. She speaks only a few words of English, yet communicates very well and quickly: she records her message
Spacious and quiet house with spacious enclosed garden. The hostess has a lot of information and you can ask all your questions. Communication via poor English and Google translate but both work. Had a very pleasant stay and the best pizza ever eaten.
Beautiful character house with a beautiful garden and swimming pool. The peace and the view are fantastic. The hostess was super friendly and welcomed us with a basket of vegetables from their own garden. From the house you can take a nice walk or drive in 10 minutes by car to the center of Pistoia.
We come here for the second year in a row.. This year a private pool!
2nd year we did this accommodation. Perfectly equipped holiday home. Nice environment, but a pity about the many mosquitoes.
On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owner. She also had a fresh fruit basket with us and informed us that we could always stop by to get our own fruit and vegetables. When we asked where we could get a gas bottle, she arranged the delivery to the house that same day for us. We could also put a swimming pool for the children on the grass. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was bleak in the extremely hot weather. it was wonderful to be among the olive trees in the large garden. Very calm. Highly recommended.
